Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:8,9).

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

(Matthew 5:13-14) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble and by this many become defiled (Hebrews 12:14-15).

Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with others. Mark 9:50
