Briley now an Eagle Scout

Joseph Briley III managed to not waiver in his leadership skills and went from Boy Scout to Eagle Scout early February 2018, an achievement that brought out many people he knew to witness the moment, along with members of Troop 485.

“There were a lot of people there for me,” the Eagle Scout said. “Some of the boys that were in Cub Scouts with me, along with members from my church were there.”

Joe Briley Jr., scoutmaster and father, said his son wanted to be an Eagle Scout for a long time. He said his son never strayed from this goal, always wanting to help his fellow Scouts and be a true leader in the community.
