JCHS graduates 348 students

Family and friends gathered last Thursday evening at Georgia College & State University’s Centennial Center in Milledgeville to watch the 348 members of Jones County’s Class of 2017 graduate.

There were 100 honor graduates in the class, and the top four spoke during the ceremonies – valedictorian Summer Bailey, salutatorian Kaitlyn Holder, Ty Nelson and Brooke England.

Class president MaKayla Moxley presented the inspirational speech to open the ceremonies, and class vice president De’Aijah Holloway offered the closing remarks. Superintendent Charles Gibson presented the graduates their diplomas.
