Man arrested for pointing gun over old feud

A Gray man was arrested for allegedly making threats and pointing a gun at the head of a victim in the parking lot of a local convenience store. 

Scott Ryan Etheridge, 36, was arrested June 7 and charged with possession of arms by convicted felons and first offender probationer, possession of a firearm or knife while trying to commit crimes, terroristic threats and acts, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault, parole violation and public drunkenness. 

According to a report by Gray Police Officer Skylar Dominy pertaining to the incident leading to Etheridge’s arrest, he was dispatched to the Marathon West convenience store at 8:10 p.m., June 7. The location of the store is on the corner of West Clinton and Highview streets.
