Mother, son, former in-law arrested on drug charges

Three individuals arrested on drug charges in Juliette were members of the same family, specifically a mother, son and former daughter-in-law.

Nicklos Robert McCullum, 31, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving while license suspended or revoked. Juanita Gail Head, 58, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, and Sharee Deann Williams, 45, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance (lorazepam) and possession of methamphetamine.

Jones County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Adam Grant said he was patrolling near the dam in Juliette because of complaints from residents about drug activity.

Grant said, while he was driving in the area, he spotted a red Jeep Liberty driving slowly and he pulled behind the vehicle. He said McCullum was the driver, and when he exited the Jeep, he told the investigator that they were fishing.
