Stealing debit card numbers leads to 24 years in prison
Members of a Jones County jury took 45 minutes to decide the fate of a Macon man who had the misfortune of choosing to steal the number of a debit card of a Jones County man.
Joshua Arlington Barlow was sentenced to a total of 24 years for 12 counts of identity fraud by Superior Court Judge Alison Burleson March 31. Barlow was sentenced as a recidivist, which means he should serve every day of his sentence.
Barlow’s trial began March 29 with his attorney, public defender Sean Brodie, informing the court that his client had decided to represent himself.
