Vivian Rose Wells

JONES COUNTY:  Vivian Rose Wells, 82, of Wells Road, died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at a local nursing home.  The family is greeting friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 20, at Elam Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., in the sanctuary of the church, with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.  Interment will be at Elam Memorial Gardens.

Miss Wells was born in Jones County to the late Joseph Carlton Wells and Odessa Roberts Wells.  She was a member of Elam Baptist Church, where she served on several committees, including the WMU, Primetimers, as well as serving on the board of directors for Elam Memorial Gardens.  Miss Wells was retired from the materials department of Robins Air Force Base and was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE).  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry Wells, Warren Wells, Robert Wells and Geneva Williams.

Miss Wells is survived by her sisters-in-law, Margaret Wells and Edna Wells; by 18 nieces and nephews; and by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Elam Memorial Gardens, 203 Elam Church Road, Gray, GA 31032.
