Willis Wade Robbins Jr.

JONES COUNTY:  Willis Wade Robbins Jr., 68, died Sunday, April 17, 2016, at his residence.  The family will greet friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray.  Memorial services will follow at 3:00 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be private.

Mr. Robbins was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Waycross, and had lived in Jones County for the past six years.  He was the son of the late Willis Wade Robbins Sr. and Grace Virginia Herndon Robbins.  Mr. Robbins honorably served his country with the U.S. Navy and was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church in Waycross.  He was a retired supervisor for Georgia Power Company and was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Floyd, and a brother, Gary Robbins.

Mr. Robbins is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Robbins; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Emily Robbins; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Mike Ugajin; grandchildren, Greyson Robbins and Olivia Robbins; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard and Linda Robbins and Bobby Robbins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hospice Care Options, 486 New Street, Macon, GA 31201.
