Delores G. Slaughter Coulter, 88, of Milledgeville, passed away peacefully on August 30. She was born April 12, 1930 in Macon, to Charlie and Bessie Carbine Slaughter. Her hobbies included playing solitaire, watching westerns and shopping. Most important to her was her family.

Surviving is a son, Ronnie (Theresa) Coulter; brother, Lewis Slaughter; sisters, Peggy Mander and Mary Simmons; grandchildren, Jennifer (Carlton) Darity, Delores (Darrin) Forester, Carolyn Parker, Trey Coulter, and Eric (Monica) Coulter; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia, Elijah, and Evan; and several nieces and nephews; also surviving is her very special son-in-law, Richard Babb, whom she resided with and was her caregiver.

Delores was predeceased by her parents; husband, Marvin Dennis Coulter Sr.; son, Marvin Dennis Coulter Jr.; daughter, Carolyn Babb; and granddaughter, Molly Darity.Funeralserviceswere held at 4:00 p.m., graveside on Friday, September 7, at New Hope Cemetery in Hillsboro. Franklin Bryant officiated.
