C2 Custom, a designing and engraving business, is open for business in Gray thanks to the owner, Jennifer Corbin-Carson, who really enjoys what she does.

Corbin-Carson said she didn’t like the city life of Warner Robins after leaving Colorado, so she and her husband moved to Jones County three years ago. She said she likes the community, and she’s lived all over the country. She said everywhere she’s lived is different.

“The community is nice and helpful. It’s a tight knit community. I like it here, since everyone is so supportive,” she said. “I think I could live here a long time.

I’m used to moving, so I don’t know what the future holds for us.”

She said when she moved from Colorado to Warner Robins, she needed a job.

She said she wondered about how people did printing and engraving, so she found out how to do it herself. She said that’s what led her to creating her business, C2 Custom.

“We are a printing and engraving shop. I do anything from signs for businesses, personal signs, swag, shirts, designing, and more. If it can be printed or engraved, I can do it. I got started by engraving barrel lids. I love what I do,” Corbin-Carson said.

The business owner said people should pick C2 Custom instead of another printing company because of the quality of her work and her integrity. She said her work may not be the cheapest on the market, but she stands behind her work and the quality of it.

“I haven’t had any complaints from people in the area so far, so people seem to like the quality of my work,” the business owner said. “If there is a problem, communication is key. Constructive criticism is good just as much as praise.” She said she hopes people in Jones County will check out her work, because she wants to become a part of the community. She said she wants to help people get what they want engraved or printed.

“My business is important for Jones County, because I want to grow. I want to be about the community. It takes a village to do everything, so we have to help each other out. I’ve done things for the Scouts, so I’ve engraved some things for them. I try to contribute and help other business owners, too. We should help each other be successful in the community,” she said.

Corbin-Carson said since most of her work is custom at C2 Custom, people tell her what they want. She can be reached for orders by several different means.

She said people can call her at 719-684-6970, email her at C2CustomInd@gmail. com, visit her Facebook at https://www.facebook. com/C2CustomLLC/, or her Instagram at @ C2CustomLLC since she has no physical shop.

“My favorite thing about running my own business is now I can make time for my family, and I can make time for my business,” the owner said. “If I want to do something during the day, I can just go and do it. I can make my family a priority while still getting orders done.”
