“all things were created by Him (Jesus), and for Him” (Col 1:16) Do you ever give pause to why you exist? Do you ask yourself what is the purpose of life?
Well, you’re not here to gain fame and fortune because if that was life’s purpose then being famous and rich would bring perfect satisfaction which it doesn’t.
And you’re not here just to keep the human race going by being fruitful and multiplying. While that is a purpose which God desires, it is not the main reason you live.
What ever reasons you may think of (and there can be many), the only reason you live is because Jesus created you for Himself: to love you and fellowship with you.
Jesus is the purpose for life--for your life.
But until you are saved, you can not participate in that purpose. You must be Born Again, washed clean of you sin by His blood. Until you are saved, you have no real life, no eternal purpose.
Just a lifeless life that will soon be extinguished and forgotten. And if your family follows in your unsaved footsteps instead of Jesus’ saving footsteps, they too will face the same fate.
Come to Jesus, the purpose for your existence. Be saved and know Real Life, perfect satisfaction found only in Jesus.
