“And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” (I John 3:23) Being saved is not a suggestion from God. It is a commandment. The sin of not obeying this commandment is the only sin that will never be forgiven. While all violations of other commandments can be forgiven, this blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God never will be. To die rebelling against this law will result in eternal Hell. There is no second chance after death (II Cor 5:10 and Heb 9:27). Salvation is decided in this life, not the next.
Jesus paid an unfathomable and unimaginable price to save us from our sin. He left His glory in Heaven and took on an human body to shed His sinless blood on a rugged cross--to be the ultimate sacrifice and atonement for us. Therefore, no one, but no one, will trample the blood of Jesus under foot like some worthless dirt (Heb 10:29). We are not redeemed by anything else but by the “precious blood of Christ“ (1 Pet 1:18-19). Jesus’ blood is so precious that God the Father will never take lightly the rejection of His Son’s sacrificial work. Believe and be saved today!
