Middle Georgia State University Erin Leonard graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Early Childhood Education on May 11, 2023. Erin is a 2019 graduate of Jones County High School.

JCHS Class of 2023 participates in grad walk

The class of 2023 at the Jones County High School participated in the annual grad walk, where they visited each school in Jones County, took a stroll down familiar halls and became role models for younger students for the day.

Piedmont University Piedmont University’s annual Symposium was held on April 12. Symposium celebrates academic achievement and has become a tradition at Piedmont. Students apply and must be accepted to participate in the event, which is held on both the Demorest and Athens campuses.

Jones County High School FFA members went to Round Oak Ancestors’ Park on April 19 to help clean up the park. Advisors, Mrs. Callie Langford and Mr. Justin Martin brought the members and directed them. Members included: Tristan Adams, Ocean Artman, Levi Bowden, Jade Coleman, Sase Esper, Colby Folendore, Trenton Harrison, Kaiden Hoffman, Harlie Henderson, Caden Hurst, Summer Jackson, Morgan Morrow, Leticia Olvera, Charles Vazowez and Annalee Webb.
