The Jones County Public Library is ready for the spooky season this October and has a lot of activities planned this fall to keep the community reading and enjoying the facility.

Community helps local boy with funds for leukemia treatment

The Jones County community is stepping up in several ways to help Lucas Messengale, a little boy here in the county who recently was diagnosed with leukemia and is having to undergo expensive treatments.

Highway 11 Halls of Horror is ready to scare

Highway 11 Halls of Horror is ready to open their doors starting Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. to scare and spook those who are looking for a Halloween thrill in Jones County. The former Bradley-Wayside School is located at 1035 Highway 11 in Gray next to the animal shelter.
