The Jones County News salutes the local Veteran of the Week

Anthony S. Vinson Sr. is the local Veteran of the Week. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984 1988. He completed basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina, and was honorably discharged as a corporal.

Youth from Bradley Baptist Church traveled to Gordon to attend and participate in a conference focused on helping youth connect to their faith and support them in everyday life.New Haven Baptist Church in Gordon hosted the ACC3Pt3D Youth Conference May 31.
