A South Carolina man recently arrested for multiple charges connected to the attempted scam of an elderly Jones County couple was in court last week seeking bond.
Bhargav G. Patel, 22, was arrested March 20 and charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, elder abuse and exploitation. He has been held without bond since his arrest.
