Independence Day fireworks to be provided by professional
The Jones County Board of Commissioners considered a plan to update the county’s aging fleet of vehicles at their first Tuesday meeting and approved fireworks for an Independence Day celebration.
The June 7 meeting was called to order by Chairman Chris Weidner. The opening prayer and pledge were led by Tim Ingram.
