    After days of anticipation and excitement, the countdown finally arrived.

    Sunday night, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m., the switch was thrown, and more than 20,000 lights lit up Gray’s Dairy Queen Christmas. Those in attendance said it was worth the wait.

    Brandy Round was one of those.

    “This was awesome. People really showed up. It was pretty phenomenal and hopefully a new Hometown tradition,” she said.
