Friends of the Library donates $6,000 from book sales

    Members of The Jones County Friends of the Library are a group of unsung heroes who work tirelessly to raise money to support the Jones County Public Library and literacy. The group’s most recent donation was in the amount of $6,000. It was presented at the Aug. 10 quarterly meeting of the Jones County Library Trustees.
