The cast features many talented performers ranging from ages 8-18. In preparation for the production, actors and actresses participate in a week-long summer camp to learn their choreography, lines, and music. Actress Winter Miller plays Princess Anna, and she is an upcoming ninth-grader who has participated in Jones County Arts since 2019.

“ Frozen Jr. is a fun show, and I have already made new friends! I love playing Anna because she is awkward and clumsy but lovable! You should watch the show because it will be lots of fun,” Miller said.

Actor Christopher Spillman plays Prince Hans of the Southern Isles and is a 2023 Jones County High School graduate who has participated in Jones County Arts since 2022.

“ Frozen has always been one of my favorite Disney movies, so I am excited to play Hans because I get to sing “Love is an Open Door” and act in a betrayal scene. Our live performances will be great, so get your tickets because I know we will be awesome,” he said.

As a student of Jones County Arts for the past six years, I believe our summer shows are the most special because we spend long hours working together, bonding, and making memories that will last a lifetime. The cast, directors, and tech crew’s hard work and dedication are evident when the students step on the stage, and you will not want to miss these once-in-a-lifetime performances. Be sure to grab your tickets to Frozen Jr.
