The Gray Fire Department celebrated accomplishments and recognized the dedication of members at its annual Christmas party, which includes promotions and awards.Fire Chief Keith Eiesle welcomed attendees to the Dec. 19 occasion with a huge announcement for the residents of the City of Gray.

ATLANTA - A Macon man has pleaded guilty in federal court to robbing two credit unions in 2022 and attempting to rob a third.Felix Cordes, 57, faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 after pleading guilty Thursday in U.S.

The American Legion Post 142 welcomed special guest Cadet Staff Sergeant Annie Wood, member of the U.S. Army JROTC to their April meeting. Wood is a High School Junior, attends GMC, is a member of the Junior American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The American Legion Post 142 presented Annie with a $350 check for her outstanding leadership qualities and continuing selfless support to her community. CONTRIBUTED
