Grand Jury indicts man for aggravated assault of repo man

An assault of a wrecker driver that sounds like it could be a “True TV” program resulted in the indictment of the alleged offender. Charles Cornick was indicted by a Jones County Grand Jury Oct. 10 on charges of aggravated assault and felony theft by taking. Cornick was arrested Aug.

Turner Woods Elementary hosts annual fall festival

Turner Woods Elementary School recently hosted their fall festival to help raise funds for the school and to have a little fall fun. Amber Ayers, coordinator of the event, said she was excited for the fall festival and to see so many families having fun at the school.
