Redmond pleads guilty to four counts of identity fraud

A Savannah man entered guilty pleas in Jones County Superior Court for charges he received following a traffic accident in the City of Gray. Jaylin Keondre Redmond was in court Feb. 27 to enter the pleas and received sentences of 10 years each for four counts of identity fraud.

Gray Fire Department receives funds for car seat safety program

The City of Gray Fire Department recently received a check for $11,019 from the Morris Bank Community Foundation for their car seat community safety project. The donation will allow the department to purchase 50 new car seats and bases to serve Jones County families during times of need.

Board of Education members got an earful of information from group of engaged teachers during their March work session. Board Chairman Ginger Bailey called the March 9 meeting to order and spoke about the College and Career Academy’s JC FLEX Entrepreneurship Competition.
