Allen (Gator) Harris passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Atrium Health Macon after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Gray Memorial Gardens, (at Cedar Ridge), at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bill Linder officiating.
Allen was born in Gainesville, Florida on May 26, 1964, to the late Alex and Nancy Elizebeth Fielder Harris. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Eva Bailey, and brother, Alex Milton Harris.
Allen loved spending time with his family and fishing. His greatest joy was found in being outdoors with family.
Allen is survived by his loving wife of sixteen years, Francis Harris; daughters, Shelly, Samantha, and Shasta; eight grandchildren, Shaun, Stormy, Alexus (Enrique) Gomez, Shiann, Jesse, Cameron, Nevaeh, Lacy; six great-grandchildren, McKenleigh, Jaydon, Darrion, Summit, Asher, and Audriana; sisters, Diana and Charles Bass, Sandra and Ronnie Buckley; and brother, Alex Harris.
