Downtown Fall Festival

Oct. 17, 5 to 9 p.m. Downtown Gray. Enjoy an evening full of fall fun, live music, tasty treats and family friendly activities. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Voices of the Past Lantern Tour

Oct. 10-12, 6:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Jarrell Plantation Historic Site, Juliette. Explore Jarrell Plantation by lantern light and hear the strange, dark, and mysterious stories from the farm’s history in the 1920s.

Salem AME Church Family and Friends Day

Salem AME Church, 115 Holloman Road, will have its annual Family and Friends Day Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2:00 p.m.

The speaker will be Rev. Michael Burney of St. James AME Church in Bradley.

CASA volunteer training

Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will hold their fall New Volunteer Training from 1-4 p.m. each day on: September 17 – Orientation; Wednesday, Sept. 24, Chapters 1-2; Monday, Sept. 29, Chapters 3-4; Monday, October 6, Chapters 5-6; Wednesday, October 8, Chapters 7-8; Wednesday, October 15, - CPRS All sessions will be held at the Putnam County Administration Building, 117 Putnam Drive, Eatonton.
