GREYHOUND HOOPS PREVIEW
A new era of Greyhounds basketball officially began on Monday as Jones County held two days’ worth of tryouts to set the roster.
Monday was the first day that teams statewide were allowed to hold practice, and the Greyhounds took full advantage under new head coach Dylan Dupree.
Dupree needs little introduction. A former Greyhound student-athlete, his recent coaching experience includes being on staff with the Lady Greyhounds last season and also assisting former head coach Buck Harris on a team that made a final four appearance.
JCHS hosts the purple and white game on Nov. 1 and opens the season Nov. 13 against Westside Macon.
