The miracle of Jesus walking on water actually contains 4 miracles.
Miracle #1 is Jesus walking on water.
Miracle #2 is Peter walking on water--Mt C14.
Miracle #3 is that the storm immediately stopped when Jesus entered the boat--Mt C14.
Miracle #4 is they immediately arrived on shore to Capernaum. Somehow the boat went into warp drive, and wham, they were at shore--Jn C6 But there was more to these miracles than just being miracles. That more is found in Mt 14:33--Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth Thou art the Son of God.
The disciples gathered around Jesus, fell to their knees, and worshipped Him. His walking on water produced worship and revealed truth. They worshipped Jesus as God and Jesus didn’t stop them because He is God. And the disciples, as they worshipped Him, declared You are the Son of God. Their eyes were opened to this truth. They were convicted of this truth. They said Of a truth. A truth. Not truths. A truth because Jesus is the Truth (Jn 14:6). All four miracles verified to His disciples this one truth-Jesus is God. Question is, is He your God?
