An armed robbery reported at a Jones County motel resulted in the arrest and indictment of the Macon man identified as the offender.
Shedric Lanorris Mims, 48, was arrested June 16 and charged with armed robbery and felony theft by taking. He was indicted on the offenses by a Jones County Grand Jury Aug. 1.
