The Lady Greyhounds are headed to the state quarterfinals, and they’ll have home-court advantage with a trip to the final four at stake next week.
Jones County beat Ware County 34-32 Friday. Its reward will be an Elite 8 contest likely on Tuesday against Midtown, 69-48 winners over Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday.
JCHS played Midtown earlier this season, losing 36-33 in the Morris Bank Christmas Tournament.
