Seniors from competing teams were recognized on Saturday, so it was rather fitting for JCHS that one of its top performers was senior Chloe Clark. She finished first on the beam in addition to coming in second on the bars and the all-around to go with a fourth-place finish on the vault.

Caroline Barfield’s score of 9.3 in the floor routine was not only good for first place, but it also was a team and season-high score in the event, a score that’s one of three needed to qualify her for state competition. Barfield was also third on the bars and beam and first in all-around.

Autumn Clark was second in the floor routine and third on vault with Cayl Milner finishing second on the beam and third on the floor and all-around.

In the JV side of the meet, McKenzie Ward led with a first-place showing in the floor routine to go with being fifth in the vault, beam and all-around. Alexa Johnson was second in the vault, third on the beam, fourth on the floor and third in all-around.
