National Garden Week was June 2-8
Gray Garden Club honored National Garden Week by having Mayor Ed Barbee and County Commission Chairman Chris Weidner sign the NGW Proclamation. CONTRIBUTED
The Federated Garden Club of Gray hosted a Daylily Show and Plant sale at W. E. Knox Civic Center on Sat. June, 1. A record number of 174 daylillies were entered in the show, which was first held in 2009. The third place winner was Lynn Edwards, second place winner (not pictured) was Deon Hutchinson, sweepstakes winner was Gray Memorial Chapel & Crematory, and best in show winner was Greg Thompson.
