Ann Paulette Stephens, 73, of Jones County, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon. Born in Louisville, Georgia, on November 23, 1951, Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She had a kind and caring heart, always putting others before herself. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially watching movies and television, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.
Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Billy Stephens; her beloved daughter, Betty Ann Stephens; grandchildren, Savannah Logan Jones, Gracie Allison Jones, Bristal Stephens, John Ross Stephens, and Daniel Wiggins; and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Earnest (Linda) Johnson, niece, Dee Dee (John) Ferraro; and her sister-in-law, Carolyn Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Betty Johnson, and her son, Billy Olin Stephens.
A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life was held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel & Crematory, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia.
The family received friends an hour prior to the service.
