Jones County’s Cooper Perry is moving on to compete against the state’s best.
A round of 78 at last week’s sectional round ranked Perry as among the event’s top finishers.
As a result, Perry’s score was not just the Greyhounds’ top score, but it also fast-tracked him to next week’s GHSA Class AAAA state tournament, held May 19-20 at Governor’s Towne Club in Acworth.
