Trail Life Troop GA-610
Trail Life Troop GA-610 will begin activities on June 24 at 6:30 p.m. with an Open House at First Baptist Church of Gray. Trail Life is an outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5 to 18. Regular meeting activities will be Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church beginning August 19. The Trail Life program began in 2013, though it is new to Jones County. The troop has plans for regular camping and outdoor adventure activities and is open to all boys ages 5 to 18.

49th Annual Ol’ Time Fourth
The 49th annual Ol’ Time Fourth will be held Friday, July 4, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Celebrate Fourth of July at Jarrell Plantation with live bluegrass music, old time carnival games, relays, and races and see the farm come to life with farm skill demos like spinning, wood stove cooking and blacksmithing. Stay for a slice of watermelon and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon.
