Bobby Avery Jr.

Bobby Avery Jr., passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, from injuries sustained in a farm accident. A service of remembrance was held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel, 4378 Gray Highway. A visitation for family and friends followed at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Maxi Threatt officiated.

Bobby was born on July 3, 1977, to the late Bobby Avery Sr., and Barbara Jean Cummings Avery.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Bobby Franklin Avery.

He was employed by Vulcan Industries as a heavy equipment operator and maintenance technician. Bobby was loved by all that knew him. His passion was fishing, hunting and most important he loved his family. He was a man of faith and a devoted father figure to his stepchildren and a mentor to so many others. Bobby was the pit master for the annual family reunions that he so looked forward to.

His memory will forever be cherished by his sisters, Norma Avery, Carolyn (Tim) Dippel and their children, Russell July 3, 1977 - June 24, 2023

Lee Dippel (Kirstin), Rachael Lily Dippel, brother, Andrew Avery, great nephews, Brooks Wade Dippel and Myles Avery Dippel. Children, Wyatt Asbell, Jeremy Hannah, Wesley Young Mcglon, and Brittany Fuller, and Special friend and companion Amy Asbell. In addition to immediate family there are numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.
