Jane Worsham

Jane Worsham passed away at her home Monday morning, April 20, 2026. A memorial service to honor Jane was held Friday, April 24, 2026, in the chapel of Gray Memorial at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation for family and friends at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Adam Bray officiated with interment following in Riverside Cemetery.

Jane was born in Macon, GA, October 6, 1945, to the late Bennie Franklin and Louise Stevenson Hudson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Worsham and brother, Bobby Gene Hudson.

Jane was a graduate of Miller High School. Jane grew up in Eastside Baptist Church which became Northridge Baptist Church. She and Tommy became members of Central Baptist Church where she faithfully played the organ for many years. She worked alongside with her husband at Kingstowne Service.

She was interested in genealogy, golfing, and was a representative for Mary Kay.

Jane was a true Christian example to her family. She never gave up on anyone. She loved everyone with her whole heart no matter who it was. She loved her church, being in God’s word and praying. Her family was the most important thing in her life and her Heavenly Father. Jane and Tommy made sure the elderly was not forgotten and took care of them without anyone knowing.

Jane leaves a legacy that will be remembered by those who loved her most for her thoughtfulness, selfless generosity in spirit and devoted loyalty. She was wise, friendly, spirited but humble soul. She will be missed.

Jane is survived by her son; Ed Worsham and her grandson; Turen Worsham, brother; Billy (Youvette) Hudson, brother- in-laws, sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wants to thank her nephew, Bobby Ethridge for being her caretaker for the last six years.
