Marie Elizabeth Meador, age 47, of Dry Branch, Georgia, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord after a long illness on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, with her devoted brothers by her side. Born November 28, 1977, in Macon, Georgia, Marie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering faith.
A member of Stone Creek Baptist Church 1808, Marie’s life reflected her love for the Lord and her gentle spirit. She found joy in life’s simple treasures, collecting stuffed animals, watching turtles, listening to Elvis Presley, and cheering for her beloved Georgia Bulldogs. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her kind heart and playful nature left lasting impressions on family and friends alike.
Marie is survived by her loving brothers; Todd Meador and Billy Meador; her aunt and uncle, Ken and Bonnie Jones; her cousin, Steve Atkinson (Leah) and Chris Jones; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will continue to cherish her memory. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, William and Bonnie Meador, who preceded her in death.
Family and friends were invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Gray Memorial Chapel and Crematory, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, Georgia 31032. A Celebration of Life service followed at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel, Rev. Justin Wright officiated. Interment took place at Stone Creek Baptist Church 1808 Cemetery, Dry Branch, Georgia.
