Mrs. Rita W. Haynes, 81, of Gray, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Bradley Baptist Church, in Gray, with the Reverend Steve Johnson officiating. The family greeted friends immediately following the service. Burial at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray will be private.
Mrs. Haynes was a long-time member of Bradley Baptist Church, where she served faithfully in the Georgia Baptist Women’s Missionary Union.
Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her son, Linn Haynes; parents, Callie Woodley Ward and Stafford Ward; and brothers, Roger and John Ward. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Haynes; daughter- in-law, Monica Brady (Terry); granddaughters, Suzanna and Allyson; and many other relatives, including sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts of food, the family asks that contributions be made to Bradley Baptist Church WMU, P.O. Box 61, Gray, GA 31032.
