A letter of thanks and bereavement
Dear Editor:
This letter is in response to an accident that occurred on Graham Road in Jones County on Feb. 2, 2022. The Nelson family would like to thank all of the Jones County Officials, First Responders, Volunteers, EMS, Firefighters, and all good citizens who contributed to the response and rescue efforts. It was a terribly unfortunate incident that left a permanent mark on our community. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family of Mr. McWilliams, and we grieve with them. The community’s response with phone calls, visits, food, and gestures of concern have been overwhelming. Again, thanks to everyone.
