“O give thanks unto the LORD: for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.” (Ps 136:1) The psalmist tell us to direct our thankfulness to the LORD. The word LORD means Jehovah.
This is not a title but is God’s personal name. We are to personally render thanks to our Creator.
God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him, not just a “Creator to created” association.
