Noble Coley was announced as the Greyhounds' head coach on Tuesday evening. An alumnus of Hawkinsville High School, he comes to Gray following six years as Bacon County's head coach, leading the Raiders to a pair of sweet 16 appearances and one trip to the Elite 8.
He played baseball at Georgia Southwestern State where he also earned a bachelor's degree in addition to later attaining a master's degree from Georgia Southern.
Coley succeeds Mike Paulk who went 24-38 in the past two seasons as JCHS head coach, winning 16 games this past season for a team that graduates only three seniors.
