Their reward? Starting the region tournament at home.
The Greyhounds will host ELCA at 4:30 p.m. Saturday for the right to advance in the region tournament, the remainder of which will be contested next week at Woodland High School.
Jones County wept the season series with the Chargers, winning 54-48 in overtime Jan. 31 while claiming the first contest 58-46.
The Greyhounds, who finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-17 overall and 7-11 in the region, have won four of their last six games.
