Middle school football splits with Monroe County

A double-dose of middle school football hit Greyhound Field last Wednesday when both of Jones County’s middle school football teams hosted those from Monroe County Middle for a pair of contests.

Jones County fell in the eighth-grade contest 15-0 before the day’s final day saw the seventh-grade game go to Jones County by a score of 18-2.
