Independent Pro Wrestling at Rec Gym Nov. 17Georgia Independent Professional Wrestling will make its return to Gray Nov. 17 for a full card of scheduled events. Doors will open at 4 p.m. with the first bell at 5 p.m. at the Jones County Rec Center Gym.

Bulldogs hope to rebound against Tennessee

After losing to Ole Miss, Georgia hopes to rebound against Tennessee (8-1, 5-1) this Saturday at home in Sanford Stadium.The Volunteers come to Athens on a four-game winning streak, hoping to advance to the SEC Championship and then the College Football Playoff.

Hounds primed for playoffs after toppling Locust Grove

LOCUST GROVE - The challenge was certainly in front of the Greyhounds defense Friday against Locust Grove and a Wildcats team with a proven record of piling up yards through the air and putting up points to the tune of two games in a row with at least 40 points.

Two Lady Greyhound seniors have collected all-region honors becoming the first all-region selections in program history. Lyndsie Hanner and Emily Parks were recently named all-region, as voted on by the region’s volleyball coaches.
