Ross comes up with two turnovers in MTSU’s bowl win
MTSU rallied from an early 14-0 deficit to beat San Diego State in the Hawai’i Bowl, and JCHS alum Teldrick Ross was right in the middle of it. Not only did he have an interception that led to a Blue Raiders third-quarter field goal, but he also cooped up a fumble on a desperation hook-and-ladder play by San Diego State to secure the 25-23 win.
Camryn James, a former JCHS basketball standout now playing for South Georgia Technical College, was named GCAA Player of the Week last week following a 17-point and 10-rebound effort. SGTC entered last weekend with a 6-0 conference mark and 14-1 overall. The Jets host Snow College and Tallahassee Community College Thursday and Saturday of this week.
