County moves forward with $1 million-plus courthouse renovations

Jones County Commissioners approved a housing study for Haddock and voted to move forward with renovations to the courthouse despite the escalating cost of materials.
The Nov. 1 meeting was called to order by Board Chairman Chris Weidner, who also led the opening prayer. The chairman introduced Webelo Patrick Carson, who led the Pledge of Allegiance.
