SUPERIOR COURT
Jones County’s Grand Jury met last week and brought back 29 bills of indictment for a wide variety of crimes, including drugs, firearms, armed robbery, a home invasion, aggravated assault and abandonment of a dead body.
The grand jury was convened Aug. 7 at the Government Center and was presented cases by the District Attorney’s office, Jones County Sheriff’s Office and Gray Police Department.
