Carrollton was much bigger than Gray, but the downtown area was not. Gray Police Chief Adam Lowe said he was recently in Watkinsville, and it had a great public venue near its downtown. Collins announced the Employee of the Month, Adarius Gray, who has been working in public works since July of 2024. Morgan said Gray has already earned several water certifications and is an asset to the city and community.
The November All Committees meeting for the City of Gray included a visit from officers of Cadence Bank with news of the bank’s merger with a larger bank corporation headquartered in Ohio and reassurance that the city’s accounts were in good hands.
