The Meat Locker, a new family-owned and community-focused market, will officially open its doors on February 27th at 6:00 AM. Owned by Darin and Lisa Simmons, the store promises to offer fresh, high-quality meats, produce, and more, with a commitment to maintaining that small-town family atmosphere.
Located at 182 Pea Ridge Road, The Meat Locker is designed to serve the community by providing a variety of fresh cuts of meat, including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and even exotic meats. In addition to meats, customers can expect to find a wide selection of seafood, locally sourced produce, and ready-made casseroles for a convenient meal solution.
“We’re excited to bring something special to Eatonton. Our mission is simple: to provide the best quality meats and products while keeping a family-oriented, community-focused atmosphere,” said Darin Simmons.
In addition to their selection of meats and produce, The Meat Locker will feature a coffee bar to fuel your day and ready-to-go lunch and breakfast options.
For your grocery essentials, the store will carry condiments, chips, bread, dairy, eggs, and more.
The Meat Locker also offers a beer cave with a great selection of local and popular beers, as well as wines and charcuterie offerings perfect for any gathering.
But the store’s commitment to the community doesn’t stop there. Darin and Lisa Simmons have made it a priority to support local growers and producers, and they are proud to offer a variety of Georgiagrown products.
The store will also work with local food banks to help reduce food waste and give back to the community.
“Our community has been so supportive, and we want to do everything we can to give back,” said Lisa Simmons.
The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
While the official grand opening date is still to be determined, The Meat Locker is looking forward to welcoming its customers and sharing their family’s favorite products.
