The Pilot Club awards two Miriam Ethridge Scholarships to high school Seniors each year. This year’s recipients are Emmie Edwards and Lizzie Merritt. They were announced at JCHS Senior Honors Night held May 1. The recipients and their mothers attended the May Pilot Club “Picnic” meeting in order for club members to meet them and share a meal. Following dinner, Club President, Wanda Bush presented Emmie and Lizzie their scholarships, and the young ladies shared their future plans.
